Nigerian comedian Deeone has sparked controversy by calling out critic Verydarkman over a ₦200 million donation to his NGO, asking for transparency.
GistLover notes that Verydarkman recently started an NGO focused on improving education in Nigeria and is looking for financial support.
In a recent Instagram video, Deeone urged Verydarkman to be accountable for the donations and pointed out the lack of response from well-known people in Nigeria’s entertainment scene.
Deeone stated that he will not be moved by appeals if he takes steps against Verydarkman concerning the donation, and he is not bothered by any criticism.
He has consistently called for accountability from important figures on social media.
“Verydarkman needs to be held accountable. Where is the NGO he made people donations for?.The reason many celebrities are quiet is because he has their secrets”,He stated.
