Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has sparked outrage on social media after stating that he was duped during a recent trip to Nairobi, Kenya.
The musician, who was in Kenya’s capital with his wife, Bewaji, revealed to his followers that he was delivered an empty bottle after ordering Azul, a popular alcoholic beverage.
Portable was in Nairobi to announce many key career milestones.
Among these were the announcement of his impending album, the approval of his American visa, and the purchase of a N100 million property.
While in Nairobi, Portable recounted an incident that occurred during his visit to a local club.
According to his account, he was surprised when a bottle of Azul was ordered for him by someone at the club.
Portable expressed his intention to take the bottle back to Nigeria for his “Ifa,”
However, his excitement turned to disappointment the following morning when he discovered that the supposedly ordered bottle of Azul was empty.
Taking to social media, Portable informed his followers of the incident, asserting that he had been duped.
His post quickly garnered attention, with fans and followers expressing a mix of sympathy and amusement at his situation.
