The Nigerian artist Burnaboy replied to a tweet regarding his move to Ivory Coast following his defeat in the 2023 AFCON.
The musician, who is well-known for his controversial and humorous remarks on social media, pleaded for assistance and assured followers that he had no idea where they were bringing him.
When a Nigerian feels like they have lost control over anything, they often respond with this phrase.
This attitude was captured in a widely shared video in which an officer was called for assistance after a driver drove off. One of Asake’s tracks included the video as the opener.
GISTLOVER reported hours ago that Burna Boy has gained notoriety on the internet for severely criticising another musician Davido in response to an unwarranted criticism from one of the musician’s admirers.
The incident started when a fan of Davido’s, known as the 30BG (30 Billion Gang), used his picture as their profile picture on social media and made fun of Burna Boy for losing all four of his Grammy nominations.
The individual on Twitter, whose profile included a picture of Davido, took aim at Burna Boy specifically, calling him a “ode.”
“Ode
“Bottled 4 Grammys,” the twitter user wrote.
Rather of taking offence at the 30BG fan, Burna Boy focused emphasis on the fan’s selection of a profile photo.
Burna Boy penned this:
