Following the death of his former colleague Mohbad, Nigerian street-pop singer Afeez Fashola (also known as Naira Marley) released his first music video, which caused a stir on social media.
Just weeks after releasing his comeback singles, he will be releasing a new music video.
Barely five months after Mohbad’s unexpected death, in September of last year, the singer returned with this new project.
“Wahala” is the name of Naira Marley’s latest single. A number of Marlian brand and Naira Marley admirers had already called for a boycott in the days leading up to the new music video’s release.
It appears that “Wahala” has been tremendously well-received, based on the reactions the new song has generated online.
Naira Marley said in the caption that listening to his music makes it hard to stay still.
In addition, he made it clear in the caption that he had no plans to leave anytime soon. His latest single arrives three months after Naira’s release from police detention.
