Diamond Platnumz’ ex-wife, Zarinah Hassan, a socialite and reality television star from Uganda, wed Shakib Cham Lutaaya, her lover who is 12 years her junior.

Despite the fact that she has never kept their relationship a secret, it was discovered that she married her younger lover in a private ceremony.

Zari frequently shares affectionate images and videos of herself with Shakib on her social media pages. Zari is the mother of two children by Tanzanian music icon Diamond Platnumz.

A video of the Netflix series “Young, Famous & African” star and her fiancé’s recent Nikah (Muslim wedding) in a home has gone viral.

In front of their family and friends, the couple was seen exchanging vows.

The mother of five previously revealed that Shakib’s parents are okay with him marrying a woman who is 12 years older than him after she visited them.

This is Zari’s second attempt at marriage. Due to cheating allegations, her first marriage to Diamond Platnumz ended sometime in 2018.

Even though she was aware that Diamond had been unfaithful, she claimed to have done everything in her power to maintain their union.

Although the reality star claimed she would always defend Diamond’s wrongdoing, Diamond did not reciprocate.

Zari said; “Even the times when I knew you messed up, I would just keep silent for the sake of peace, for us to be happy, let it go, let it slide, move on, keep going, keep your family.

“You gave me away…Baba T you know I was here for you, like I would deny for you, I would take a bullet for you, but every time I did that for you, you did the opposite, me and your kids were being attacked, I had nowhere to hide.”

She added; “When these people start producing receipts of your behavior, what you did, and the receipts are in our faces, I pull out and say yes he did it.

“I moved on, I’m happy where I am and I’m sure he’s happy where he is but personally it’s something that keeps coming back, I had something good going and it got so messed up.”
