Dino Melaye Reveals why he won’t challenge his loss in court

Following his electoral defeat, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nominee for Kogi State governor, Senator Dino Melaye, has reveal why he will not be pursuing legal recourse.

Melaye stated that his choice was based on the claim that the judiciary has evolved into a branch of the All Progressives Congress, or APC, which is currently in power.  He made this statement on Wednesday during an Abuja media briefing.

He claims that the public now knows that the current administration’s judiciary has turned into the “lost hope” rather than the “last hope” for the average person.

Melaye observed that it was unfortunate that the judiciary was powerless to stop members of the ruling party from bragging about their hold on the court during campaign rallies.
