DJ Chicken Allegedly Arrested

Nigerian street DJ, Ademola Abiodun, known as DJ Chicken, has been arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Nigeria Police Force.

A video went viral showing him being approached by police on a crowded street in Lagos.

Reports say DJ Chicken is accused of making online threats to someone’s life and spreading false information about that person.

Soon after, more videos appeared online showing DJ Chicken being held by the police.

This isn’t DJ Chicken’s first run-in with the police. In 2023, he made headlines after news spread that he was arrested for a hit-and-run incident in Lagos.

Reports from the popular Instagram news site, Instablog9ja, claim that DJ Chicken was taken into custody early on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, after colliding with a car belonging to a Lekki resident the night before, on May 1, 2023.

It was reported that Chicken, after colliding with another vehicle, somehow escaped the scene of the accident.

In addition, Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky sparked a discussion with a viral video where he expressed his anger on social media about the DJ.

According to reports, the socialite had controversial singer Ademola Abiodun, known as DJ Chicken, arrested in the video, while chaos erupted in the background, likely as police took him away.

Bobrisky claimed that the DJ should be jailed for allegedly disrupting his peace at the hotel.

The crossdresser and DJ Chicken were said to be staying at the same hotel in Ilorin, Kwara state, as DJ Chicken focused on doing right by his daughter.
