- She moderated the Youth Action Day at UNGA 2024, titled “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day,” and delivered a musical performance.
- The session became the largest youth gathering in UN Headquarters history, with other attendees including UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and Cape Verde president José Maria Neves.
Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, commonly known as DJ Cuppy, a prominent disc jockey and the daughter of Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola, has become the first Nigerian to host the opening session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Cuppy moderated the Youth Action Day at the 2024 UNGA, titled “The Summit of the Future – Youth Actions Day.”
Cuppy also gave a musical performance after her keynote presentation.
Her session was the biggest youth gathering in UN Headquarters history.
Other personalities at the session include the UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs and the president of Cape Verde, José Maria Neves.
