African students at Oxford University now have a bursary fund thanks to the efforts of Nigerian disc jockey DJ Cuppy.
The Oxford alumna recently revealed that she is proudly launching the “Cuppy Africa Oxford Fund” on her Instagram page.
According to her, this fund is to support and empower any African graduate student of Oxford University.
DJ Cuppy said that this new collaboration means a lot to her, particularly since she just received her MSc from the esteemed institution.
“Proud to launch the Cuppy Africa Oxford Fund! I just graduated from Oxford Uni and so this partnership means a lot to me.
This £100,000 gift is in support of African Graduate students. It aims to support future leaders from the continent by enabling them to access the necessary skills, resources, and networks to maximize their impact. Over the next 10 years, my hope.is to support those in their education journeys and reach their full potential during their time at Oxford and beyond”.
It is indeed a beautiful day for DJ Cuppy as she bags her third degree in African Studies from the University of Oxford.
The proud entertainer was joined by her fiance, Ryan Taylor and her billionaire parents, Femi Otedola and Nana Otedola.
Taking to her Instagram story to share videos of her and her boo preparing for her graduation ceremony, DJ Cuppy revealed she is excited about it and promised to make noise about it.
