DJ Neptune, who is both a singer and a DJ, has given advice to his peers about the dangers of overspending.
In discussing financial struggles in the music industry, he emphasized the need for careful financial planning during their successful times.
He noted that some artists do not save money because they assume their fame will last indefinitely.
DJ Neptune shared these insights in a recent interview on the Zero Conditions Podcast.
He said, “Artistes feel fame is forever; that’s why some of them, while they are at their peak, don’t save up their money, they don’t invest
“That’s why I tell some of my colleagues, while you are on top, invest your money. If it’s properties you want to do, just have a side income.
“It is only a few of us that have the grace to be in the game for more than five, ten years. You are appealing to a certain age group, and if you don’t know how to tone down and switch, you might have missed your way”.
