Don Jazzy Unfollows Verydarkman Amid ₦180M NGO Fraud Allegations

Nigerian music mogul Don Jazzy has unfollowed social activist Verydarkman on Instagram, sparking further attention to the ongoing ₦180 million fraud controversy surrounding Verydarkman’s NGO.

The incident unfolded after Verydarkman claimed that hackers infiltrated the NGO’s account, stealing ₦180 million. In a viral update, he disclosed that ₦20 million had been recovered and that one suspect was in custody, with investigations still underway.

The NGO, launched to address challenges in Nigeria’s public education system, has received widespread support from the public and celebrities. Earlier this year, Don Jazzy made a significant contribution of ₦100 million to the organization, boosting its total donations to over ₦200 million.

However, following the allegations, Don Jazzy’s decision to quietly unfollow Verydarkman has raised eyebrows. Social media checks confirmed that the music executive removed Verydarkman from his following list, prompting speculation about his stance on the issue.

The move has divided opinions online, with some suggesting it reflects Don Jazzy’s concern about the allegations, while others believe it is premature to draw conclusions without conclusive evidence.
