Reality TV Star, Maria Chike has tested positive for Covid-19 and currently receiving treatment in Ghana.
This came a few days after Maria made headlines on being extorted and detained against her over the Covid-19 test and result.
In a post shared on her Instagram story, Maria appreciates everyone who has inquired and reached out to her over the current health issue.
According to Maria, she had numerous back and front positive and negative test results but later tested positive hence warning her fans not to take Covid-19 for granted.
In her words:
“My heartbeats, I heard you were all concerned about me. Thank you so much for all the kind messages. Unfortunately, I have tested positive for Covid-19 but I can reassure you I am doing really well.
I initially has a negative result from Dubai less than 24 hours of coming to Ghana, upon arrival into Ghana, I tested positive and was asked to quarantine, I got a different Doctor that tested me negative again.
We have so many back and front results of positives and negatives. But finally I have tested positive. Please do not take COVID for granted and don’t try to be as stubborn as myself always.
I have been placed in best possible care and receiving treatment. I will be in Ghana until I am fully recovered and tested negative. I love you all and cannot wait to get back to work.”
