The Lagos State Police Command has revealed that it’s yet to make any arrest regarding the death of 12-year-old Dowen college student, Sylvester Oromoni.
The spokesperson of the state police command, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu, made this known is a chat with Daily Sun.
According to him, a letter of invitation would be officially sent to the school management today, December 6th.
“For now, and to the best of my knowledge, no arrest has been made, but investigation is ongoing.” Ajisebutu said.
It can be recalled that 12-year-old Sylvester Oromoni died days ago after he was allegedly beaten and tortured by his fellow students for refusing to join their cult.
Meanwhile, the police spokesperson in a statement released on Saturday, December 4, said although the case was not officially reported to the police, the command has launched an investigation into the death of the young boy.
