It has been rumored for a while that Tiwa Savage and Toke Makinwa are no longer best friends. This was proven at a recent event in Lagos where both women were present.

Tiwa Savage and Toke Makinwa, two female stars, used to go to events and clubs together, celebrate each other’s birthdays, and had each other’s backs. For example, during Tiwa’s fight with Seyi Shay in 2021, Toke stood by her friend and affirmed that Tiwa is capable of ensuring that she wins any fight.

But in early 2022, things between them quickly became tense. The two women allegedly ceased to be friends because of a man they both had feelings for.*

When Tiwa Savage received an honorary doctorate from the University of Kent in July 2022, Toke Makinwa neglected to recognize her.

The two celebs stopped getting out, sending birthday wishes, and unfollowing one other on social media. Intriguingly, Toke Makinwa began boasting about a new best buddy.

Both Tiwa Savage and Toke Makinwa were in attendance but they shunned each other all through and ensured to sit far away from each other. While Toke Makinwa was adorned in a yellow abaya, Tiwa rocked denim on denim and had her bodyguard around her all through the occasion.
