Drama has unfolded in the University of Benin in Edo state when a first-year student took her roommate’s 20-inch bone straight hair in order attend Nigerian singer Rema’s recent homecoming concert.
This incident quickly went viral and happened just a day before the concert, which attracted many fans excited to see the Afrobeats star perform in his hometown.
Although the specifics of her theft are unknown, a video online shows police arriving at a UNIBEN hostel to take her into custody.
It was gathered that the young lady, who seems desperate to appear beautiful for the singer’s event, cut the long bone straight wig into a short 8-inch wig.
Her arrest caught the eye of many, as other students hurried to see what was going on.
It is worth noting that the Rema Homecoming Concert was a major event in Benin City, bringing in fans from across the nation. The ‘Calm down’ singer wowed his audience with a fantastic show.
