In a bold response, Nigerian rapper Dremo fires back at Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie with a diss track following his jab at Nigeria’s top three artists, Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.
You may recall that earlier today, Sarkodie released his latest single titled “Brag,” where he took aim at Burna Boy, Wizkid, and Davido, claiming to have paved the way for them in the music industry.
He asserted his seniority over Wizkid, mentioned his influence pre-dating Davido’s arrival, and equated Burna Boy with Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif.
Sarkodie identified American rappers J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar as his only competition.
In response to a fan’s request, Dremo has issued a reply to Sarkodie’s comments. The fan, @bad.boy.dicey wrote: “diss this guy jorr wetin him dey feel like…” Replying to him, Dremo wrote: “hold my beer“
Fans took to the comment section to hail the DMW rapper for a job well done.
