A passenger who opened the emergency exit door during a flight and caused a gust of air to enter the cabin before the aircraft safely touched down has been arrested.
According to CNN, the commercial aircraft was ready to touch down in South Korea on Friday when a passenger seated next to the emergency door pulled a handle to open it as the plane was approximately 200 meters (656 feet) in the air.
The man was able to unlock the door despite attempts by other passengers to stop him, according to the transport ministry.
According to reports, the police have detained the person who unlocked the door, albeit it is still unknown why.
