Anyim Vera, the woman who gained notoriety after her testimony at Dunamis International Gospel Center, DIGC, and was accused of lying, has reportedly been apprehended by the Police.
According to reports, Vera was detained by the Nigeria Police Force on Tuesday for a breach of etiquette.
It is worth recalling that Vera’s story went viral after the Senior Pastor of the church, Dr. Paul Enenche, interrupted her testimony at the Church Headquarters.
Enenche, perplexed by the supposed law graduate’s incorrect English, posed some questions seeking clarification.
In response, Vera stated that she obtained a BSc in law from the National Open University of Nigeria, which led the clergy to dismiss her and declare her testimony as false.
However, Enenche later apologized to her, expressing that he never intended to humiliate Vera when he interrupted her testimony.
Shortly after the incident, Vera reached out to Nigerians for financial assistance in securing better accommodation.
She claimed that her current residence was no longer safe or suitable for her status.
