Toke Makinwa, a media personality, has said that music artist D’banj is the first Nigerian guy who has ever given her free money without demanding anything in return.
In a widely shared social media video, the well-known on-air personality discussed her first meeting with the musician and how confident he was in her.
She said that many years later, she started her career, and D’banj was there to offer his support. During her book launch, D’banj promised ₦10 million, which he paid the next morning at 8 a.m.
Toke Makinwa also said that he is the first man in Nigeria who has given her free money without expecting anything in return, referring to him as his major guy.
