Ghanaian dancehall queen, Ebony Reigns will be buried on March 17, 2018, her family just announced.
The announcement was made by the family yesterday Sunday, February 18, 2018 during a ceremony to mark one week since the singer’s death in a gory car crash at Bechem in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana.
Ebony Reigns, whose real name is Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, died on the 8th of February along with two others – Franky Kuri, Ebony’s very close friend and soldier L/C Francis Atsu Vondee.
The Jeep car they travelled in collided head-on with a VIP bus. The driver of Ebony’s Jeep survived but is still on hospital admission.
The One-Week service in memory of Ebony Reigns held at the Martins De Porres School at Dansoman in Accra and thousands of Ghanaians attended to pay their respect to the late singer as well as commiserate with her family.

Ebony Reigns’ parents, Mr. & Mrs Nana Poku Kwarteng, are seen in all-white apparels because their custom demands that a father wears white clothes if he is losing a child for the first time.
The week observation also saw ministers of state and other political figures, ministers of the gospel, and bigwigs in the Ghanaian entertainment industry in attendance.
Ebony Reigns was returning from Sunyani after visiting her mother who had returned from the UK, when the Jeep she was travelling in crashed into railings on the road edge of the road.
She was travelling with three other people when the accident occurred, killing everyone but the driver.
