Famous musician Burna Boy has created excitement after a video appeared of him at a Lagos nightclub called Hot Box, with socialite Yhemolee and others.
The Grammy-winning artist was seen joyfully dancing to songs like “Higher” and “Tshwala Bam remix.” However, his actions with Nigerian money caused some controversy.
In the video, Burna Boy is shown stepping on Naira notes, which is against Nigerian law.
The Central Bank of Nigeria clearly states that it is illegal to spray, dance on, or step on the Naira or any banknote at events. Those who break this law can be punished with at least six months in jail, a fine of 50,000 Naira, or both.
