Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina, a model with Nigerian and Mozambican heritage, has revealed that she will take part in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant after pulling out of the Miss South Africa 2024 contest over nationality issues.
Gistlover reported that she was invited to the Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant following her exit from the Miss South Africa competition, where she was among the Top 11 Finalists.
She withdrew from the competition after the South African Department of Home Affairs claimed her mother might have been involved in fraud and identity theft.
In a recent video, Adetshina shared that she has accepted the invitation.
“I have decided to participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 beauty pageant… I am looking forward to participating in Africa’s most prestigious beauty pageant – Miss Universe Nigeria,” she said.
