The Katsina Emirate Council has announced the death of Hajia Aminatu Mai Babban Daki, mother of the Emir of Katsina, Abdulmumini Usman.
Bello Mamman, Secretary, Katsina Emirate Council, who announced her demise, said that Aminatu died on Saturday in Katsina, after a protracted illness.
“She is survived by nine children, including the Emir, and will be buried today in Katsina,” he said.
