Nigerian Afro-fusion artist Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, has once again showcased his talent as a remarkable musician and singer.
His new album, Lungu Boy, was released at midnight on Friday, August 9, 2024, and it has quickly become a hot topic on Nigerian social media.
One of the songs from Lungu Boy features Asake’s mentor, Wizkid, who for the first time openly discussed the loss of his mother.
After his mother’s passing, Wizkid released a new project but chose not to mention her in the EP, which led to some criticism from fans who hoped he would express his feelings through music.
Now, it appears Wizkid is ready to address his mother’s death, sharing his thoughts in his collaboration with Asake, titled MMS.
