“End time is near” – Pastor Adeboye expresses concern over the arrest of RCCG pastor abroad

  • Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, revealed a shocking incident involving a pastor’s arrest for allegedly using discriminatory language abroad.
  • During the monthly Thanksgiving service at the Throne of Grace, RCCG’s national headquarters in Lagos, he made this statement.
  • Pastor Adeboye was arrested after using the offensive phrase “ladies and gentlemen” at a gathering, excluding non-binary attendees.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has recounted a troubling incident involving one of the church’s pastors overseas, who was arrested for allegedly employing discriminatory language.

This revelation was made during the church’s monthly Thanksgiving service held at the Throne of Grace, the national headquarters of RCCG in Lagos.

Pastor Adeboye disclosed that the pastor was detained after he greeted an audience with the phrase “ladies and gentlemen,” which some individuals found offensive, arguing that it excluded those who do not identify strictly as male or female.

“The end is nearer than you think. Things are getting worse, and this is a wake-up call. One of my pastors abroad was arrested for simply addressing a gathering as ‘ladies and gentlemen.’ Some people reported him for discrimination, asking, ‘What about those who are neither ladies nor gentlemen?’” he stated.

The pastor also shared another alarming account involving a woman who referred to her dog as her husband. When inquired about her spouse, she responded, “I took him to the vet before coming. He doesn’t talk,” describing her “husband” as a dog.

Pastor Adeboye voiced significant concern regarding the decline of moral values globally, interpreting these occurrences as indicators of the approaching end times.

“Those of you already in Christ, take this matter seriously. Do not let anyone weaken your stand. God is holy. Those still playing church—singing, clapping, and enjoying things without genuine commitment—remember, Jesus is coming back. The devil wants to harvest you, but you must not give him the opportunity. I want to see you in my Father’s house,” he stated.
