Nigerian youths on Thursday, assembled at the Lekki Tollgate in Lagos State to mark the second anniversary of the #EndSARS protests and #LekkiMassacre.
Falz and skit maker, Mr Macaroni joined the memorial procession which started around 9 am on October 20, 2022.
The EndSARS protests which shook the world in October 2020, saw thousands of young Nigerians marching through major cities in Nigeria over two weeks.
Youths were calling for an end to years of police brutality, assault and extrajudicial killings.
At the procession on Thursday, coffins were carried to honour the memory of the unarmed protesters who were shot and killed by security personnel on October 20, 2020, at the Lekki Tollgate when they were singing the national anthem and waving Nigeria’s flag.

Falz earlier announced that he will be joining the walk to “honour fallen heroes from the #LekkiMassacre #EndSARS.”
Activist and comedian, Debo Adedayo, also known as Mr. Macaroni, also that he would be participating in the walk in memory of those who had been brutalised by police.
“Peaceful walk tomorrow in honour of all #EndSars and police brutality victims. We no go fit ever forget!!!!” he tweeted.
