The two leaders of the National Assembly made the appeal after a meeting they had with the President, Muhammadu Buhari, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Sunday.
Following their meeting with President Buhari, the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan; and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, have spoken to Nigerian youths.
The National Assembly leaders appealed to youths to stop the ongoing protests against the scrapped Special Anti-Robbery Unit of the Nigeria Police Force.
They said the government was working hard to meet all their demands.
