A viral video has caused debate among social media users when it showed a Nigerian mother waking up her sleeping daughter, Adenike, with the smell of food.
The mother could be heard on the video calling the little child, who was sound sleeping, as she laid a local meal in front of her.
The small girl quickly woke up at hearing her name and the suggestion of food, examining the surroundings until she discovered a dish of Amala before her.
The highlight of the clip was the little girl’s reactions after seeing the food and she began to taste the soup.
