“Entitlement is the issue here”- Reactions as Igwe Credo calls out Kcee over not giving him a single dime for Ojapiano

Igwe Credo revealed that he had not been compensated adequately for KCee’s use of his sound, stating that he had only been given 500,000 Naira in total. Furthermore, he revealed that everyone, including members of KCee’s crew, advised him to focus on developing new music and getting viral himself rather than waiting for income from KCee.

Igwe Credo, the owner of the Oja Piano Sound used by KCee in his viral track, has come up to express his displeasure with KCee and his brother E-Money.

In a recent interview, he revealed that he had not been compensated adequately for KCee’s use of his sound, stating that he had only been given 500,000 Naira in total.

He stated how KCee and his team had accommodated him by staying in a hotel. He did, however, add that he and his crew had to spend their own money to cover their meals and transportation bills at one point.

KCee had provided them 200,000 Naira and promised them more money later, but the money was never delivered.

Igwe Kwedu also alleged that KCee promised to provide them things he wasn’t wearing, but they never received them.

Furthermore, he revealed that everyone, including members of KCee’s crew, advised him to focus on developing new music and getting viral himself rather than waiting for income from KCee.

Kcee

His main desire to KCee, however, was not for financial benefit. He expressed a desire for fame and attention, hoping that KCee would assist him in gaining exposure and recognition so that he could compose and promote his music.

Regrettably, KCee did not comply with this request, instead instructing him to pay the bloggers himself, despite the fact that he lacked the requisite finances.

Igwe Kwedu’s annoyance stems from his belief that he has not been appropriately rewarded for KCee’s usage of his Oja Piano Sound, which has earned international prominence and generated significant cash for KCee.

Reactions

lanredanielvs: “I’m not Igbo, but I’m enjoying the way he was infusing Igbo in his discussion. May God settle all of you.”

otis_asia: “KC and E-Money blocked so many people because of the truth, including me. I told him to check his DM. Bro, you people are wicked, no cap. From your village, I know you people are wicked.”

bshizzle70a: “Was a CONTRACT SIGNED which clearly states what everyone will be getting from the collaboration? You can’t do this by word of mouth, promises. Why? Three words: Money. Changes. People.”

king_lascurt: “My brother Harrysong is vindicated. He spoke about how they used the industry to oppress him.”

only_juchy: “The truth is wealthy people are USERS; you just have to apply wisdom as an upcoming artist.”

dr.kparao: “Oga, 500k in total isn’t enough for you? What’s all this fuss about?”

deejaytoski: “Entitlement seems to be the issue here. So, he should pay you 100 million or what? He gave them a platform, and they should use it.”
