Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia has taken a public swipe at her colleague, Frederick Leonard, after he unexpectedly blocked her on Instagram.
The drama began when Etinosa left a playful comment under a video Frederick shared, where he was seen singing and dancing with his crew to lighten the mood after a long shoot. In her comment, she pointed out the irony of him motivating his team while allegedly mistreating crew members on other people’s sets. Though her remark was intended as a joke, it seemingly didn’t sit well with Frederick, who swiftly responded by blocking her.
Angered by his reaction, Etinosa took to Instagram to express her frustration. She insisted that her comment wasn’t meant to be offensive but was a reflection of the truth that needed to be acknowledged. Venting her rage, she even went as far as cursing him, declaring, “Thunder fire you.”
She further accused Frederick of portraying himself as kind-hearted in videos while allegedly treating crew members poorly behind the scenes. According to her, many crew members are reluctant to work with him due to his behavior, and his decision to block her was simply an attempt to avoid facing the truth.
In her words:
“Dear Frederick Leonard.
You can block me from cracking a simple joke with you! It was an obvious joke; you could have deleted it or come to my DM to say, ‘Haba, babe, I don’t like it,’ and I’d sharply apologize and delete it. It was never intended to hurt you but I guess it hurts so much because it’s true!!
Thunder fire you. Block me so you can sleep at night but you cannot block the voice in your head telling you the truth. The truth is bitter.
Crew members are human beings!! Stop treating them like Animals and making clout-chasing videos to look like a good person. A lot of crew members turn down jobs when they hear you are on it. That’s deep bro.
Only your friend will tell you your mouth is smelling. You have blocked your sister too. You will keep blocking my dear”.
“My mother always complains about the way I joke, saying that not everybody sometimes finds it funny. I truly apologize to my big brother and former friend Frederick. This thing pains me. I no go lie. Kilagbe kileju. It is well”.
