Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, popularly known as Portable, has made headlines on social media by claiming he will live a long life and making fun of Oladips and Destiny Boy.
Oladips, a Nigerian artist, is under criticism for reportedly staging his own death a few weeks ago in order to promote his album. This is the context in which Portable made its comment.
Speaking about himself, Portable was overheard stating that he plans to live a long and happy life. Portable is now on a tour overseas to promote his musical abilities.
He said that another Nigerian singer, Destiny Boy, appeared to be in a rush and was choosing conventional methods to draw fortune rather than waiting for fate.
Comparing Oladips’ purported acts to those of Destiny Boy, Portable contended that Oladips had similarly staged his death and then made a comeback to declare his survival.
Portable highlighted in the same video that he has established himself as a successful artist and that he just put out an album.
He encouraged people to listen to his songs on streaming services.
