“Everything is fake and expensive in Lagos”- Vee laments

Victoria, better known online as Vee Iye, is a singer, actor, and media personality. She recently expressed her opinions regarding the status of things in Lagos on the X platform.

She also let out a cry over Lagos traffic, calling it insane. She humorously tells her followers that she shouldn’t be allowed to go outside until the noise has partially subsided as she wraps off her tirade on Twitter. She openly informed them that she wouldn’t leave until the next year.

She lamented that life in Lagos was getting more and more chaotic as Christmas drew near.

She bemoaned the growing cost of commodities and the sharp rise in the selling of fake items in Lagos.

Vee also chastised restaurant owners for their inability to handle a large crowd at this time of year.

“Restaurants and clubs clearly can’t handle the amount of people flooding into Lagos. Concerts are starting at 2am. The traffic is crazy. Cab prices are extortionate. Everything is fake.

Everything is expensive.

l’ll see all of you in January abeg.”
