Nigerian social media activist, Verydarkman, has seen a tremendous surge of support for his NGO, raising nearly ₦200 million in donations within just five days. The activist recently launched his foundation aimed at improving the lives and educational environments of secondary school students, and the overwhelming response has been remarkable.
Among the notable donors is music mogul Don Jazzy, who contributed the highest amount, helping to bring the total donations close to the ₦200 million mark. On Thursday night, Verydarkman shared the exciting news on his Instagram story, posting a screenshot of his bank balance with the caption:
“Almost ₦200 million donated in just 5 days… As you all insult me, please keep adding funds along with the yabbing. The project is all that matters to me now. Even if it’s ₦100, just do it.”
Known for using his platform to address societal issues, Verydarkman acknowledged the criticism he has faced but emphasized that his primary focus remains on the success of his NGO and its positive impact. He called on his supporters to continue contributing, showing his dedication to the cause despite any negativity.
The massive amount raised in such a short time highlights the strong backing he has received from his followers and the public, who are eager to support his mission.
