Nigerian Content creator, Carter Efe has shared a video capturing the moment he finally shook the hands of his favorite singer, Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun.
He took to his Twitter account and said the meeting was an achievement for him as well as a snippet of what fans should expect in 2023.
Carter Efe said he began the year believing in possibilities and he ended it with the achievement of meeting his idol.
He wrote; “Began the Year Believing, Ending the year Achieving.😭 This is a snippet of next year. CHARIS❤️🦅 Wizkid fc 4life❤️🦅”
In the video he posted, Carter approached Wizkid to introduce himself backstage when the Joro crooner excitedly gave him a handshake and hug.
Another part showed the comedian performing his hit song, Machala with Berri Tiga on stage at the Landmark beach concert in Lagos.

Meanwhile, it was reported earlier that Wizkid snubbed Carter despite attempts to get his attention at the recently held Landmark Beach concert in Lagos.
In a separate video that trended online, the duo were back stage when the skit-maker started hailing Big Wiz who was apparently waiting to be called on stage for his performance.
Carter, who was not get up-close and personal with the Grammy winner had to hail him from a few steps away but Wizkid did not look at him or acknowledge his presence.
Rising singer, Berri Tiga was together with Efe when he kept praising Wizkid but did not get a response.
This comes days after the comedian turned singer, said he would love to meet Wizkid.
He said that he heard Wizkid was in Lagos, and he felt it was a perfect opportunity to meet the person that inspired him to make a song.
Carter had earlier made the hit song, Machala as a tribute to Big Wiz even though he has never seen or met him in person.
Starboy who lives in Ghana with his family landed in Nigeria days ago and for his annual end of the year show which took place in Lagos.
