The accused were alleged to have collected millions of naira from unsuspecting members of the public, under the pretense that they had contracts from the University of Abuja campus to sell.
One of the victims is Bikky International Ventures, that paid a sum of N1.2 million.
“The defendants who include the Minister’s son, go around telling people that the Minister had given them contract documents which they are looking for contractors to execute.”
“They will show contract documents given to them by the Minister, but they will assure you that if the contract is not given to you, your money will be refunded.”
After collecting money ranging from N1 million and above, they won’t not pick your calls again.
