Actress Faithia Williams has shared her feelings about the loss of her stepdaughter Zeenat, expressing how deeply it has affected her. She also thanked everyone who supported her during this tough time.
Faithia, who was previously married to actor Saidi Balogun, joined in mourning Zeenat, who was the daughter from Saidi’s first marriage to Sherifat Balogun.
On October 5, Saidi posted a heartfelt message on Instagram, showing a candle surrounded by flowers and using sad emojis to convey his sorrow.
The actor was getting ready for the second show of his play Asiyanbi: Ti Oluwa Nile at Terra Kulture, Lagos when he learned the heartbreaking news about his daughter’s passing.
Recently, Faithia shared her feelings on Instagram, discussing how hard this loss has been for her.
She prayed for peace and strength and expressed gratitude to everyone who offered their support.
Her message read:
“This past week has been a time of reflection and prayer following the sad loss of someone dear to me. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un
I want to sincerely thank everyone who reached out, checked on me, and kept me in their prayers during this difficult period. Your support has been a great source of strength, and I am truly grateful.
