Singer and actor Falz, whose real name is Folarin Falana, expressed his excitement for the premiere of Everyone Loves Jenifa on December 8, 2024, in Lagos.
He spoke highly of producer Funke Akindele, sharing that she inspires him and is someone he looks up to. During filming, he noted to Funke that the series Jenifa’s Diary will turn 10 years old in 2025, and he has been involved from the start.
Singer Dapo Oyebanji, known as D’banj, expressed that Funke has always felt like a sister to him. He mentioned that he has always wanted to collaborate with her, so when she brought up her movie project early on, he decided to get involved.
D’banj, often referred to as the Koko Master, shared his happiness about being guided by Funke. Many fans appreciated their conversation about her, including one fan, @elle_banky, who commented on the video on Instagram.
