Falz opens up about his rumored relationship with Simi

Folarin Falana, a well-known rapper better known by his stage name Falz the Bhad Guy, open up without holding back about his relationship with married artist Simi.

it may be remembered, in 2016 Simi and Falz released a joint EP called “Chemistry,” which ignited dating rumours.

Falz stated in a recent interview with Hip TV that their relationship was strictly musical, despite misconception that they were more than friends.

He explained how he approached Simi after hearing her breakthrough song “Jamb Question,” and how their musical chemistry led to further collaborations.

“I met Simi 2013 or 2014. I reached out to her first time I heard ‘Jamb Question’ to let her know I’ve written a verse for the remix that we’ve not yet discussed.

“And we went on to do it, shot the video and from then onwards, every other track was so natural. She’s family, we really really clicked musically and we just had to really explore that. It was beautiful.”

Falz recently discussed what draws him to a lady in an interview with Bibi Rai on the “Morning Rush Show,” indicating a change in his priorities beyond looks.

Falz also talked about his past relationships, revealing that he hasn’t been in a romantic relationship since he was 18 years old.

He clarified that he hasn’t been prepared to commit to a relationship because his attention has been diverted.

Regarding his preferences, Falz stressed the significance of a person’s aura and vitality.

He admitted that he no longer placed as much value on beauty or other flimsy attributes.

He said: “My last relationship was when I was 18-years old, 2008 precisely. I’m not running away but it’s just been like a rollercoaster, a couple of different things for a couple of different reasons. I just haven’t felt ready.

“The aura, the energy, the swag. When I say the aura, I don’t mean that loosely; I’m coming from a realm where I thought I liked light skin or babes with big breasts, among other fickle things. I am in a realm where it is about the kind of energy you ooze.”

The singer said during an appearance on Angela Yee’s podcast, “Way Up,” that many people mistakenly believed that they were in a romantic relationship.

The pair who have a joint EP which was released years back stated that they both have music history and alluded that she has a new song with Falz coming out later this month.
