Nigerian rapper Folarin Falana, better known as Falz, recently created a buzz on social media after making an appearance on a popular Yoruba game show.
He was a special guest on this show, which aims to teach viewers about Yoruba language and culture, hosted by the Yoruba language expert Ojalekan Fabilola.
Falz, who holds a Law degree from the University of Reading in the UK, faced a fun challenge on the show where he had to answer questions solely in Yoruba, avoiding English and Pidgin altogether.
During the episode, he had everyone in stitches with his attempts to stick to Yoruba, as he struggled a bit with the language.
Despite the challenges, Falz surprised many viewers by successfully reading some written Yoruba, and his enthusiasm was infectious.
One memorable moment that sparked a lot of chatter was when he was asked to explain the difference between Amofin (Lawyer) and Agbofinro (Executives like police and enforcement agencies).
He humorously identified himself as an Amofin (Lawyer) and jokingly described Agbofinro as those who are clueless about the law, which made everyone laugh.
