Family of late singer Aduke Gold announces funeral plans

Pastor Ajayi Aderogbo, the stepbrother of gospel singer Aduke Ajayi, also called Aduke Gold, has disclosed details about her funeral arrangements.

In a clip from an interview that came out on Wednesday, Pastor Aderogbo spoke about his close relationship with the late artist.

“I’m her elder brother and like a father to her because we share the same father but have different mothers. I began taking care of her in 1993 after the death of our father.”

He went on to share the family’s plans for her burial, saying:

“We held a family meeting and decided that the burial would take place on the 23rd of August, with several outlined programmes. On the 21st, there will be a candlelight vigil.”

Additionally, he stated that they have received her death certificate from the hospital. Pastor Ajayi commented on the situation:

“Whoever is saying what is not should just stop that, our daughter was ill, she had cervical cancer, she was taken to UCH Ibadan and unfortunately, she died. and to the glory of God she rested on a Monday, August 12. Contrary information spreading around is false.”
