Some social media users expressed their dissatisfaction with US podcaster Livingston Allen, known as Akademiks, for comparing Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, to Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, also known as Gunna.
Recently, Gunna arrived in Lagos for Asake’s concert.
Prior to his arrival, Chloe Bailey, his ex-girlfriend from Nigeria, was often seen with Burna Boy. He treated her like royalty, leading others to believe they were dating.
After Burna Boy hosted Gunna, confusion arose, and a debate started. Akademiks recently posted that Burna Boy’s success surpasses Gunna’s, which could be why Chloe was attracted to him, as women usually don’t go for less successful partners.
In contrast, certain fans claim that a single song by Gunna has achieved more success than a large part of Burna Boy’s career.
