A Nigerian fashion designer shared her frustration after catching an apprentice with a large amount of stolen fabric, over 100 yards.

In a viral video, she explained the steps she took to prevent theft, including not allowing bags in the workplace and searching for stolen items with a security guard at the end of the day.

However, despite these precautions, various fabrics kept disappearing, adding to her frustration.

The designer was eager to find out what was happening, so she decided to check her apprentices’ things. To her surprise, she found a Ghana-Must-Go bag belonging to one of them, packed with stolen fabrics.

In the video, the designer tries to ask the apprentice about the theft, but the apprentice does not respond. One of the stolen items was a piece of netting that had been reported missing just the day before.

The designer, clearly upset by the betrayal, shared her frustration but felt a sense of relief in discovering the truth about the ongoing thefts.

The event has led to conversations online about theft at work and trust problems in small companies. Many people felt for the designer, while others pushed for tougher workplace security measures.

The fashion icon, who has recently indicated her willingness to consider marriage again, shared this candid revelation on X (formerly Twitter).

Toke revealed that she decided to spend her evening watching the K-drama “Captivating the King” instead of going on the date.

In her post, she humorously compared the pressures of modern dating to an interview process.

    She wrote:

“I cancelled a date tonight cos of K drama, 😂😂😂😂. I hope he doesn’t see this o but dates these days be like interview, ma bimi ni jamb questions Jo 😂 let me watch ‘Captivating the King’ in peace.”
