Nigerian Veteran rapper Illbliss has come out to make clear the message he posted on his Twitter page days ago.
Illbliss tweeted a post which insinuated that he had been unjustly harassed by members of the Nigerian Police Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
The post soon generated a lot of attention as fans and Nigerians online spoke out concerning the allegded incident in the wake of numerous calls by citizens to scrap the special police unit because of the alleged illegal activities
But the rapper has come out to say that the incident never happened instead, what he tweeted was parts of lyrics from a song he was releasing titled ‘It is God’.
In a lengthy post on Instagram, Illbliss said the song was “reflecting on all the sadness, insecurity and turbulence going on in our country in recent times.”
“Please Note that I was not arrested nor harassed by SARS. I was painting a vivid picture through the music. As an artist it is only right you’re a voice for the people around you”, the rapper also posted.
