Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) Minister, has come to the Supreme Court to observe the ruling about the 2023 presidential contest.
The minister, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and a staunch ally of President Bola Tinubu, is present at the highest court to hear the decision about the appeals filed challenging the president’s election.
The seven-member Supreme Court panel’s leader, Justice Inyang Okoro, has arrived at the court and greeted the attorneys in attendance.
While Abdullahi Aliyu declared his appearance on behalf of the Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC), Chris Uche is representing Atiku Abubakar and the PDP, Akintola Makinde is holding a brief for Tinubu, and Olumide Olujinmi is representing the APC.
