The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has just reported one thousand nine hundred and sixty-four (1964) new cases of COVID-19 disease in Nigeria.
The new disturbing figures of the dreaded virus was announced on Thursday night, January 21 on the official Twitter account of the disease control agency, Gistlover reports.
This brings the overall number of the COVID-19 in Nigeria to 116,655 with a total of 93,646 people discharged while death claimed 1,485 people.
So far, 1,485 people have died of the killer virus since its outbreak in Nigeria in February 2020.
