Federal Government Sounds A Vital Warning To Hospitals Amid Coronavirus

Hospitals across Nigeria have been warned by the Federal Government never to reject any patient.

This comes after Nigeria saw an increase in its Coronavirus cases as they recorded 681 new cases.

The warning was issued by the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire during a press briefing on Thursday.

“It is unethical to reject patients who come to the hospital for treatment; such offenders should be reported.

I also want to call on all healthcare facilities not to reject anyone seeking medical help, especially in an emergency situation. It is unethical to reject such a person in distress,” he said.
