The ongoing treason trial of Nnamdi Kanu, Leader of the now proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, at the Federal High Court, Abuja, has been adjourned to December 5.
The adjournment was due to the absence of Binta Nyako, the Judge that is presiding over the case, who is said to be attending the “All Judges Conference”, at the National Judicial Institute, Abuja.
Again, Kanu was absent from court on Monday. His whereabouts have remained unknown, since the alleged invasion of his home in Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia, the Abia State capital, by the Military, on September 14.

His co-defendants, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu, and David Nwawuisi, were brought to the court by personnel of the Nigeria Prison Service, NPS, from Kuje Prison, where they are being remanded.
Also, Eyinnaya Abaribe, the Senator representing Abia South Senatorial District, who is one of the three Sureties that signed Kanu’s bail bond, was present in court, on Monday.
