A Nigerian woman, Mercedes Ekwutosim Okwukogu, has left the feminist circle in disarray after she announced her wedding over the weekend.
The lady who is popularly known for promoting feminism on Facebook, shared a photo from her traditional wedding where she knelt down for her husband.
Mercedes wrote; ”Chaii!!! My feminism in the mud!!!!”
Her colleagues took to their Facebook pages to cry out over her ‘betrayal’ while also congratulating her on getting married.
