Filmmaker Pascal Atuma Teams Up With With Katsina State Govt To Uncover Fresh Football Talents

    Canadian-Nigerian filmmaker Pascal Atuma has formed a partnership with the Katsina State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Katsina Football Academy, and Bondy Football Academy in Paris, France. This initiative is designed to develop new football talents in Nigeria, especially in Katsina state.

    The partnership’s purpose is to uncover and nurture Nigeria’s hidden football stars in Katsina. It will supply essential resources and expertise to help these players achieve their best and become elite footballers.

    This collaboration will work on identifying and training raw talents, offering excellent coaching and mentorship, and providing chances for international exposure.

    The agreement signing featured several notable attendees. Lawal Aliyu Zakari, the Commissioner for Youth & Sports Development for Katsina state, was present, along with Ahmed Mohammed, the chairman of Katsina Football Academy, and Sani Mustapha Bello, who chairs the Sports Committee in the Katsina State House of Assembly. From Bondy Academy in France, CEO Aacim Zahiri, sports director Jamel Zahiri, and co-founder General Mahamadou Yate were there. Pascal Atuma represented Tabic Football Club.

    Atuma claimed:

    “This partnership represents a new dawn for youth and sports development in Katsina State, Nigeria, and Africa, and its potential impact is substantial. With the right support and resources, Nigeria’s young talents can shine globally.”

    Atuma is a versatile individual who works as a filmmaker, actor, director, screenwriter, and film producer. He is passionate about nurturing talent, which led him to create Tabic Music Label, providing young musicians with opportunities to grow.

    His football academy, Tabic Sporting Outfit, has partnered with the Katsina State Ministry of Youths & Sports Development and Katsina Football Academy, along with Bondy Football Academy in Paris, France. This collaboration aims to identify and develop young football talents in the state, helping them start their professional careers.
