The October 1 quit notice issued by Arewa youths to Igbos living in the north, which has received so much criticism has been withdrawn.

Recall that the Arewa youths who issued press statements in June, said the ultimatum was given so that the Igbos who are Biafran agitators and reside in the North, can quickly go to their region to form their desired country or face physical attacks if they choose not to leave.

However, leaders of the forum has announced withdrawal of the quit notice in a press conference they held.
